Writers Wanted

Are you the type of person who loves to share interesting tidbits with your brothers and sisters? Have you got something to share? Do you like to write? Do you want to have some fun? If you do we are looking for contributors to post new stories and content to www.jwtalk.net which not only receives a significant amount of interested visitors, but also has a significant amount of subscribers waiting to read the next piece. Your articles do not have to be long, even short articles can get some great comments and feedback.

Who Can Join?

We are looking for brothers and sisters from all around the world and in all walks of life, who are associated with the organization known as Jehovah’s Witnesses and are active in their home congregations, both in attendance and as ministers.

Share What?

Anything positive about Jehovah’s Witnesses, or things that would likely be of genuine interest to the majority of your fellow brothers and sisters. This can be poetry, illustrations, pictures and videos, local news media reports, reviews of ministry products or theocratic software, and more (We are NOT interested in tall tales or experiences that cannot be verified).

What Guidelines Am I Expected to Follow?

We expect all content to be original. This means not stolen from other sites and blogs unless you are the original author of said material. This does not apply to illustrations and parables that teach a lesson or moral that commonly circulate among us via email today. Breaking News is also an exception, however, you must credit the original author and provide a link to the original content. If the news site stipulates that only a fair use portion of the article be copied with a link to read the rest on their site, please honor that.

Do not reprint articles published under the direction of the faithful slave class, and do not copy excessively or borrow heavily from them in your articles, as we are not interested in being a “Bible answer site” nor a site explaining the beliefs and practices of Jehovah’s Witnesses, as www.watchtower.org is. Do not post links to inappropriate sites, and this includes links to sites that have the Watchtower Library on CD-Rom or other publications available for download, as we do not want to be unfaithful like the disloyal individuals who make such content available in this manner.

Spammers and Apostates?

You don’t need to worry about bad or imappropriate comments on your articles. We monitor all comments and we use state-of-the-art spam protection so the spammers don’t bother us. Derogatory and negative comments from those who do not share our faith in the Bible are not welcome.

Spelling Issues?

Our writing system includes a spell checker so you only need to have average spelling skills and if we do come across any issues with your articles we will fix them for you. Your articles will be reviewed before being published.

Do I Have to Be a Member of the Forums?

No. You do not have to be a member of the discussion forum to contribute articles.
